December 6th is fast approaching. Fans are making final trip arrangements and party plans to watch their Alabama Crimson Tide and Florida Gators take the field for the coveted SEC title.
Yes, Alabama sits atop the BCS standings as the No. 1 team in the nation, but the Gators have been on fire ever since their one loss to Ole Miss on September 27th.
Coming off a 45-15 routhing of Florida State, Florida looks to keep the momentum going, even without star receiver and running back Percy Harvin. Harvin injured his right ankle on a 5-yard run to the FSU 8 with about six minutes left in the second quarter. He's been listed as questionable and Coach Urban Meyer has already slotted returnman Brandon James to fill the void. Though Harvin will be missed, we can't forget about rushing threats Jeff Demps and Chris Rainy in the backfield and Aaron Hernandez, Louis Murphy & Co. to challenge the Tide in the air.
Will QB John Parker Wilson beable to combat the young, tanacious Florida defense and keep up with Tim Tebow and the No. 1 offense?
Saturday, December 6th at 4 p.m. Watch and see.
